At the same time, you don’t want to neglect your audience and customers. Affiliate marketers who provide expertise and support for customers can go a lot further than those who don’t.

I have people on the internet occasionally contact me about products I am representing. I have my eCommerce customers ask even more question.
The personal touch is always appreciated, but most questions are pretty basic. I could focus my time better without back and forth internet conversations. A customer could get the satisfaction of an easy answer quickly without having to wait on me.

As a consumer I tend to dislike chatbots when I really need a person and I am stuck going through their useless scripts.
On the other hand I really like the convenience when, on Amazon, I need a refund on something that didn’t arrive. There are many ways the Amazon chatbots get whatever I need done quickly. I also like that if I really do need (or want) to chat or speak on the phone with a live person, I always have that option.
